EAV Cargobikes: Be unique in a competitive market
A 3D experience that blends a fully functional 3D configurator and an interactive guided tour.
The Challenge
The commercial cargobike market is a crowded space. Electric cargobikes all have the same restrictions: batteries, range, regulated maximum dimensions and weight. This means many cargobike manufacturers create products that look similar. If you can’t set yourself apart with the product, you need to adjust the messasing.

For this solution I collaborated with Lucas Rudolph and Ambre Jenffer for the 3D modelling and concept developing of the inspiration scenes.
The Solution
We created two solutions that blend into each other. One the one hand there’s a regular 3D configurator that changes colors and swaps options. It ends in a call to action with transactional email and personal brochure. It’s a solid solution for people who know what type of cargobike they’re looking for.
In parallel there’s an interactive 3D guided tour. It offers configuration options while guiding you with hotspots and instructions. It’s a more casual way to navigate your products, but still embedded in an e-commerce funnel with a strong CTA.
What sets these experiences apart is the addition of example uses of the cargobike. The obvious delivery and site maintenance are there. But what do you think about a mobile DJ booth or film set makeup effects station? These examples make you think and laugh.
Inspiration
In a saturated market where products are very similar, inspiration and customer engagement matter. Being able to link that to a solid sales- and marketing solution gives you a leg up. You probably already have the 3D models lying around, make the most of them!
